We offer 3 yearly national routine breast screening to eligible women registered with a GP between the ages of 50-70 years within the Cambridge and Huntingdon region. Screenings take place in our two mobile vans and at the Breast Unit at Addenbrooke’s Hospital. We encourage you to accept the invitation to visit our kind and professional staff, who are ready to help you.

How to book

Where will I be screened?

Screening mammography is carried out on the mobile mammography units, which travel to various sites around Cambridgeshire during each year.

What happens at my screening mammography appointment?

Information on what happens before, during and after your mammogram.

Your results and further imaging

The majority of women will receive a letter in the post telling them their mammogram is normal. A few women will be asked to return for a number of reasons.

Family history screening

offer a breast screening service for people who are at high or moderately increased risk of getting breast cancer because of their family history.
